ICE detained more than 70 Minnesota children, data reveals Immigration officials detained more than 70 Minnesota children between Dec. 1 and March 10, a Sahan analysis of court records and federal deportation data shows.

70 Minnesota children.

Delta Air Lines, who likely flew nearly all of these kiddos out of MSP, could publicly condemn this and end the practice tomorrow, as the airlines did in 2018 with family separation, but it’s easier to stay silent.

It was unfortunate. And the bill idea came from someone in the collector world trying to get people the opportunity to legally drive more.

There were a variety of AI summaries and videos about the bill that were shared widely. They were incredibly inaccurate and contributed heavily to the confusion.

Happy Confederate Surrender Day from Minnesota where we still have your goddamn flag and we’re not giving it up.

Happy the Strib is covering our bill to ban Paraquat - a deadly chemical known to cause Parkinson’s - in Minnesota. And I wish they would focus on the humans being impacted by this terrible disease.

Roper: Metro Transit’s visible investment in light-rail safety is refreshing good news for the region It has become common to encounter some official presence while riding the train. But riders have been slow to return.

There’s still more work to do, but as Eric writes: “It’s important to also acknowledge when things appear to be turning around.”

Thanks for sharing this bit of good news, Eric!!

In 2023, I passed legislation investing in transit safety. Now, thanks to our dedicated TRIP agents, we’re seeing the results. Riders are feeling safer, enforcement is up, and bad behavior is down.

Proud of this work!!
