The reason generative AI is so popular with wannabe creatives is best illustrated by something every pro writer has encountered: getting pitched an idea by someone saying "You write it and we'll split the profits!" because they think the idea is what has value, not the writing. The opposite is true.

Just finished another Sunday morning reading books on Twitch. After reading an entire book series, it’s making feel like it might be fun to do audiobooks.
But that also feels like a ridiculous notion that I have no idea how to start or do.
