Overall, estradiol was not clearly linked to sleep quality or timing, though those in the highest 10% reported slightly better sleep.

A randomised controlled study by Yifan Liu et al. shows that 6 weeks of vitamin D in gestational diabetes improved oxidative stress and inflammation and was linked to lower neonatal birth weight and reduced macrosomia, with no significant change in fasting glucose.
