My main project is not ready to show yet but I also keep floating back to a side project that's just adding stuff to the last jam game I made because I just love npc routines
Was thinking about this and "make it anyway" keeps coming to mind
When people talk about influential games it's strange to me how much the original Bernband haunts me still
"complex, not complicated" is what was used to describe Jim Henson's type of creativity and there is something beautiful about that and more people should think like that with game design
It's important to still make art in hard times
It's finally time ๐
I'm excited to reveal Lizard State, a stealth action game inspired by Splinter Cell and Metal Gear Solid.
Looking forward to share more as development goes on.

When the dream game is more of a nightmare for other people
important
Hides the body as well now that's some systemic shit
Seems like my kind of game jam
Marathon is more of an atmospheric shooter than I thought it would be and if you do a solo run it's the coolest stalker like game and in general I like it but the art style is something special
It's hard to get back at it after something bad happens but glad you are getting there amazing to hear
What a strange choice at this point with mgsv since every single person who gets the mod will have finished the game more than once I would assume haha
That will be a strange experience with all the tools and things you can do
GZ fully ported to MGSV by the master (not just the map!)
Well you are allowed a hobby and making games when making games sounds totally fine
Started playing this yesterday the forgotten stealth game and so far dated controls but very cool
Also has a level editor so will need to try making some levels for fun.
At least you don't have to make a stealthy top down Zelda like dungeon like me haha why do I do this to myself
Remember you have the best example to look at with ground zeros and I think make a space that's fun to explore first then add guards to ruin and block off that fun
It's the fact its stealth and that makes everything so much harder doing levels myself yeah it takes so long to get it feeling good in terms of timing patrols
If only it was possible to go back and play again for the first time.
I also think it's good because you don't have to do that nothing forcing you.
Every time after your main project enters proper development the ideas for side projects creep into your mind
The dread that comes from the sea can take many forms
The new marathon trailer is just DRIPPING IN JUICE HOLY FUCK
God, I love being a New Yorker
Fake game dev since i am just now getting around to playing this one and already get why it's such an inspiration
Just finished giving it a listen actually and realising i know most of this already haha but great interview as always
Started my latest project to test myself in limiting scope but now making a stealth puzzler in a semi metroidvania style but still feels like I am being good with scope somehow
