The Onion thinks this is satire, but it's not.

In a survey published in July 2025, the Canadian firm Leger revealed that 47% of Republicans would still support Donald Trump even if he "was officially implicated in Jeffrey Epstein's sex trafficking activities" (see: leger360.com/trump-epstei...)

These days, many investors will back a lump of shit as long as it's allegedly "AI" related.

I know - we'll use the most advanced AI agents! I hear they're getting pretty good. arxiv.org/abs/2602.20021

It's the Flat Earther-ism of energy production - every bit as stupid as when "Mad" Mike Hughes died while trying to prove his Flat Earth hypothesis, when his homemade rocket crashed.

Context: The New York Times helped elect president Donald Trump, who then gave America HHS head RFK "Raccoon Penis" Jr., who, in turn, gave America its resurgence of Measles that killed this girl.

Now, the NYT sells outrage about her needless, tragic death.

“…the attacks amount to extrajudicial killings as they apparently target civilians who do not pose any immediate threat.”

This country will always bear this shame.

Why it's important to teach children to recognize birdsong Knowing which bird is chirping or warbling is actually child's play, as long as you approach it methodically. We asked experts to guide us in this learning process.

Stanislas Wroza, an audio-naturalist at the French National Museum of Natural History, began identifying birdsong at age 10. Now 32, he can recognize about 1,000 different bird songs and calls.

omg, it *is* AI slop.

But the Iranian negotiators are still highly educated and the Americans are still shallow buffoons.

Here's a study, published 2/2026, which shows exactly what happens when AI "agents" are given the freedom to run amok: nothing good. Catastrophe, even. This is the technology that AI boosters claim will transform the world. arxiv.org/abs/2602.20021

Because Republicans are A OK with a 75 year-old man getting a full body massage from a 15 year-old girl as long as he keeps his underwear on?

Oh my. Ahmanson, btw, almost singlehandedly funded the rise of the Christian Reconstructionism movement, which hopes to one day be able to stone witches, blasphemers, adulterers and rebellious teens. But I guess Rod Dreher's knuckle-dragging racism was a bridge too far for Howard.

Howard Ahmanson almost singlehandedly bankrolled the Christian Reconstructionism movement, which wants to impose stoning for adultery, homosexuality, and teen rebellion. But apparently Rod Dreher's crude racism was too much for the Savings & Loan fortune scion.

I'd missed this Rod Dreher 3rd grade reminiscence, about gawking at some poor black kid - "All us boys wanted to stare at his primitive root wiener when we were at the urinal during recess, because it was monstrous."

I can imagine Howard Ahmanson, who is *not* crude, sputtering in consternation.

The Iranian negotiators all wear glasses, probably b/c they read too many books as children. They are highly educated. The Americans are shallow buffoons.

If you have *any* doubt there's an AI bubble, consider this 2/2026 published study in which the latest AI "agent" technology - that's supposed to soon lead to superabundance & universal basic income - was put to the test. The result: an utter farking disaster. arxiv.org/abs/2602.20021

Speaking of which, here's a 2/2026 published study of the latest "Agentic" AI technology which, claims people like Elon Musk, will soon lead to a utopia of abundance in which humans no longer have to work and there's universal basic income for all. arxiv.org/abs/2602.20021

There are few positive uses of the Stochastic Parrot™ intellectual property theft technology that depletes our water resources, jacks up the price of electricity, and funds fascism, but this might just be one.

On "Destroy your civilization" days, the price of gold goes down. On "ceasefire" days, it goes up. I'm not sure why, it's counterintuitive -> gold is supposed to be a hedge against financial disaster. But the recent pattern suggests the reverse. Yesterday at midnight it was $4810, now it's up $20.
