It's important to stress this point. But it is something that everybody should know by now. The generation of strings of words are not comparable with what knowing people - falsely or not - might claim. It is two totally different paradigms: one that generate and one that (claims) to know

I'm not sure I'm buying into the claim about "expert-level answers" when there is no arguments for the selection of sources. Part of expert level answers is the reasons for use of specific sources and the exclusion of others.

Well, first it depends on the character for partnership. If I use GenAI as a partner for writing, I'd disclose it. If I use GenAI as inspiration I wouldn't. I'd adwise students to disclose it in any case where in doubt as forexample text washing or the like. I wouldn't disclose in text washing.

Great that you bring AIEd and unconference together.
At KP we made an unconference on the topic more than a year ago but never repeated the concept. But I'll certainly consider if not now is the time to plan another event.

@rettighedsalliancen har udgivet en vejledning om copyrightbeskyttede tekster og chatbots. Man må ikke i uddannelsessammenhænge lægge sådanne tekster ind i chatbots. Det er slut-forbudt. Så det, mange af os gør, er altså ulovligt. #skolechat #AIEd

I honestly believe all LLM results should come with a disclaimer reminding people that the thing doesn’t (and absolutely cannot) know any facts or do any reasoning; it is simply designed to *sound* like it knows facts and frequently sweeps some up accidentally in the process.
