🚨 BREAKING: The Manufactured Housing Bill of Rights has passed the Minnesota Senate! #mnleg
Minnesotans are one step closer to reining in corporate greed and winning real stability for manufactured home residents across race and place. 🏘️

New, from me: Take the Palantir manifesto seriously, if not literally.
It reveals that our tech philosopher kings want public money, but without public accountability. This creates a dilemma for governments unaligned with its techno-fascist vision. 🧵

We needed this rain ☔️
❤️🩹 From Red Lake down to Red Wing, getting the care we need shouldn’t depend on income or insurance.
📣 That’s why faith leaders are calling on the #mnleg to fully fund HCMC and protect the state’s largest safety net hospital for every Minnesotan.
You have about 40 minutes to send your testimony, or sign up to testify at the hearing tomorrow. Here's info on how to do either of those: www.senate.mn/schedule/com...
This will end your night on a good note.
Gratitude. 🚀 🌕
Hi #chemsky! I'm looking for examples of U.S. labs that have closed, moved overseas, or otherwise been lost in the last year.

Just because a President announces he’s agreed to a two week ceasefire moments before he threatened to commit war crimes, does not mean he is suddenly fit to serve. #25thAmendment
URGENT: 7 PM CT PRAY FOR IRAN WHEREVER YOU ARE LIGHT A CANDLE & PRAY FOR PEACE
URGENT: Tonight at 7 PM CT, light a candle wherever you are.
The people of Iran deserve peace, safety, & dignity.
Say a prayer. Stand in solidarity. Refuse to be silent in the face of violence.

Science is a natural political target of all authoritarians. Telling scientists to be quietly apolitical is asking them to passively accept science’s demolition (now happening at pace in the US, with great losses everywhere else).
This doesn’t earn trust. It displays indifference.
Donald Trump is unhinged. It’s time to remove him from office, period.
Anyone abdicating their responsibility today will be on the wrong side of history, forever.
25th amendment. Impeachment. I will support any avenue to remove Donald Trump from office. We cannot leave this man in charge of America’s nuclear weapons as he threatens to end an entire civilization. And Congress must not fund this reckless administration.
I’ve been warned that by engaging in politics, I might undermine myself as a scientist. Or worse, reduce the trust that people have in me or scientists as a whole.
This latter point is the thesis of a recent article by Byron Hyde: link.springer.com/article/10.1...
I disagree for multiple reasons.

My quick count is I’ve attended a good 30-35 March Madness games, including multiple Final Fours. Everyone wants a break between games. The only live music I want to hear is from the school pep bands!
Bruce Springsteen comes out with a powerful, badass intro to his Land of Hope & Dreams American Tour and kicks into Born in the USA.

The primary folly is thinking there’s a version of premed preparation that eliminates weed out courses. There aren’t enough spots for every student who intends to attend med school. Be it another course or some other requirement, med schools will find ways to pare down the total applicant pool.
In Minnesota, we stand tall with our neighbors in the face of hatred.
The MPR analysis of deportationdata.org data meshes with MN50501s estimates from counting ICE detainees at the airport very closely; MPR's data has 3,789 arrests between Dec 1 and Mar 10.
Our estimate between Dec 2 and Mar 13 was 3,644, not including children, or adults that were flown with them.
UConn answers that question someone asked about whether or not people have moved on from hating Duke basketball.

Spirited and faithful Minnesotans gathered at the Minnesota Capitol. Feed the hungry. Heal the sick. Welcome the stranger. #PalmSunday2026
