Stick to the game plan, Montréal really does seem to be the more talented, skilled, and faster team as of right now. Don’t get caught playing down to Tampa Bay‘s level, they’re going to be dirty, cheap, and overly physical on every single play forcing the officials to make/not make calls. #GoHabsGo

Folks talking about Tampa being so physical, slowing down the stars (pointing to the lack of shots), seem to be a bit confused if you ask me… Nearly impossible to create offense against a team like Tampa when you’re on the penalty kill most of the game. Win the third. #GoHabsGo

I’m a “play better so that the officials never matter” kind of guy, and even I can see the officials are why this game is tied. Not to mention, it’s hard to create much offense when you’re always on the penalty kill... Thus the lack of shots. Finish strong, win the third. #GoHabsGo

The difference in this game is the officiating and it’s that simple to be blunt.

I try and refrain from even talking about the officials in sports, because if you play better it usually doesn’t matter, but this has easily been as bad as it gets.

😂 This is why Tampa Bay got their fourth power play in the first period and a half? And allowed them to tie the game? A regular hockey play? If you’re going to be this blatant about it, don’t even let them play it out. Easily one of the worst officiated games that I’ve ever watched up to this point.

🛑 I do my best to avoid talking about the officials (especially during the playoffs), but this is atrocious. As obvious as it gets when it comes to rigging a game in favor of one team, do better NHL, if Tampa Bay is going to win then make them earn it… Embarrassing to the game!

Minus the ridiculously soft officiating in favor of Tampa Bay, immediately after the Habs opened the scoring, I’ll take that first period of playoff hockey. You know the Lightning are going to come out hard in the second, be ready! #GoHabsGo
