I love the book “A City on Mars” - very informative and funny too! I have been big fans of the Weinersmiths for years. (I read SMBC every day) - I don’t agree with all the conclusions in the book but they definitely cover all the important topics and the references are great.

With the recent X class solar flare, it is interesting to learn about contingency plans for Artemis II mission - basically ’empty the Orion storage lockers, crawl inside, and wait out the solar storm’. No warning with gamma rays, but you can try to hide from the 10 MeV protons that arrive later.

It is heartbreaking how much angry ignorance is in the world. I really appreciate all that you did to keep us alive and healthy. You saved many lives here in NZ.

I have loved planetariums since I was young. I am very impressed by the modern ones (for example the Digistar 6 projectors) that can show the 3D models of the solar system, Milky Way, and other galaxies. Only some shows show the real power of illustrating the astronomical data.
