My long-standing crank opinion is that districts should be aligned to overlap counties, with as few splits as possible, to better align the functions of government.

Keeping a small bag of Euros with my passport makes me feel like an international spy but really just helps buy a coffee when I touch down.

Being in this camp for the first time it is crazy how much interest rates are going to impact what our MAGI ends of being at the end of the year.

Sounds like you have a clear understanding of a complex problem.

Do not blame Soderbergh because we have shitty copyright laws.

He did not create that problem.

Congress did.

I am excited to see what he comes up with.

This sounds like a reasonable approach from a guy who likes to experiment on the fringes of technology and storytelling.

Wish I had a video of those two guys playing guitar and signing Folsom Prison Blues n Gaelic in a dub here in Killarney, but the image in your head is pretty close.

Pennsylvania democrats need to find someone who can get elected to replace him.

Not easy to do in this state.

I thought banks were unable to foreclose on a home in Florida if it was a primary residence.

Not true?

Or are these mostly vacation homes?

Executive Suite (1954) is the most authentic movie about corporate intrigue and succession I have ever seen.

And, it is a pretty solid story.

Based on a book by a former corporate executive turned fiction writer.

Add to that the ability for younger folks who are so inclined to easily explore these concepts in an accessible way and learn to apply them.

When they blow a huge hole in our economy, I am sure you will cover those prediction apps.

And when people claim the downfall was not a predictable, we will all laugh and laugh.

I filed a deceptive practices complain with the DOT at the portal they setup to track such issues and received an email the next day from Frontier Air that they may not respond within the legally required 10 day window due to the overwhelming number of complaints they have received.

Fix yourself!

So who does the best reporting from the perspective of the American Citizen?

I think the list may have shrunken to Mother Jones and..... having a hard time thinking of who is next.

Yes, yes, and yes!

We are taking a critical and regulated public utility and transforming so quickly there is no understanding of the impact.

They want to act quick so by the time the impact is obvious, they can say too bad.

Stop them now.

(And I am a fan of AI in general, but this must stop.)

In mapping out the universe there are stars so far away we can only see the light of the star but by measuring the "wobble" of the light we can tell how many planets surround it and approximately how large they are.

Seeing a story "wobble" weird always makes me wonder what is influencing it.

Companies trying to stop employees from automating their jobs with AI (while getting paid), until the companies can figure out how to replace those employees with AI (and stop paying them) is the most 2026 thing.
