Also, they tend not to leave the problems for another day. Falling asleep with a fight still going on - not really possible. It's going to be solved beforehand 🤓

You know, the silent presence, the "I'm not going anywhere" kinda vibe, the little gestures of peace, and eventually approaching the problem with a cooler head.

They know they need to let the other blow off some steam before attempting to negotiate. Esp true with Farie. If you push her wrong buttons too early its just gonna get worse.
Once it gets calmer, they start with silently reminding the other one that they are *here* no matter what. #rylavellan

The first is Thom Rainier (Blackwall from Dragon Age: Inquisition), and the other is Ilia Trevelyan (@kccodes.bsky.social's OC). Thom is dressed in his standard brown fit—dark boots and gloves, gambeson, belt, chain mail peeking out from the open bottom of his gambeson—and has brushed yarn hair and facial hair which has been needle felted into place. His eyes are also needle felted, and his dark hair has light streaks at the temples. Each ear has a tiny hoop earring. His gambeson has embroidered Xs along the right arm. Other small details are also embroidered. Ilia is wearing her Inquisitor jammies—tan trousers, brown boots with laces, a dark blue top with long sleeves and metal clasps down the front (yarn here, not metal).
