I think she likes the dramatic weight these topics allow her more than the topics themselves. She's top notch in most other categories- performance and vision are always tantamount- but its fuel for escapism, which puts her at odds with critics or would-bes.

Language models do not have to be large, they don't have to sap resources, and they don't have to steal 4 their training data. This lie has been sold as fact BECAUSE the technology is meaningful, not in spite of it. Those with the resources to build it don't want to build it slowly and responsibly.

I have more writing coming along but its been difficult to wrap it all up into a bow.
