There was no shortage of people who were far too dismissive of Miami as a team, let alone their legitimacy in a 68-team national tournament.

They all look silly tonight.

Look at that scene in Dayton. Look how fun that team is and what it just did to a high-major opponent.

Terrific result for CBB.

What a pass

Appreciate you posting on here!

Until you realize they put Mizzou on the ten line, not in Dayton (second worst predictives). Just a convenient excuse for the committee

Ridiculous

It's actually appalling that Miami U was the LAST TEAM IN THE FIELD.

It really does feel like Christmas morning.

I'll post my official bracket prediction later today, but one guess I'm gonna stick with: Miami University doesn't go to Dayton. RedHawks will be an 11-seed that isn't in a play-in game.

UMass beat the Florida State team that is winning against Duke right now! Throw them on the one line!

That would be brutal for them. They deserve better, especially given how weak this bubble is. Unfortunately, I could see that happening

They’ll probably be on the 11 line. Could compete there, the MAC wins tourney games occasionally

True, they even dropped the receipts haha

Yeah, it’s unfortunate they couldn’t get more quality teams on the schedule. Hopefully that changes in future seasons

It’s a talented squad. They showed some stuff in the non con

1 month ago 0 0 0 0

It’s a lock they are in. If the committee puts them in Dayton however, we riot

Nah, Miami is safe. 1 loss season when even a 2 loss team has NEVER missed. Even if it was a strong bubble they’d be safe. There will be some nasty discourse the next couple of days though

They should be an easy easy lock and shouldn’t have to go to Dayton. Get ready for some toxic discourse over the next few days though

They could’ve lost by 250 and still been a lock thankfully. Give me a 2 bid MAC over a bad power conference team like Auburn any day

The cost of a single egg so that oil barons can feed their families and fund our elections?! Seems like a small sacrifice to me!

Texas: loss.

Longhorns are vomiting all over themselves going into the SEC bracket. Lost four of five. We have seen TWELVE bubble teams take losses in the past 24 hours.

A promise: Miami University will be nowhere near Dayton.

If Miami is on the bubble at 31-0, but we praise the metrics of power conference teams for drilling Coppin State in the non-conference, then we might as well hit the reset button on college basketball.

Miami 's perfect regular season is more than enough: RedHawks are an NCAA Tournament lock after win vs. Ohio The feel-good story in college basketball has officially grown into one of the best stories in American sports in 2026

The Miami detractors and cynics have entirely lost the plot. This team is THE example of the magic and allure of college basketball.

And now, the RedHawks are an NCAA Tournament LOCK.

A big column that puts into perspective why 31-0 has become one of the stories of the year in American sports.

MIAMI: 31-0. They've done it. They run the regular-season table.

And to top it off, it's the 1,500th win in the history of the school.

And their first in Athens since 2011.

Instant classic. Unforgettable night.

The RedHawks are an NCAA TOURNAMENT LOCK.

If a team that *won 30 straight games* is left out of the tourney the event has lost any meaning.

Are there any solid numbers on this? With the amount of people either on the right or politically apathetic in the US, I kind of figured most people just wouldn’t change sites. Anecdotally that’s what I’ve seen from those I know as well

I think the NBA’s argument is probably “trade markannen and don’t trade for JJJ if you want to lose games rather than benching them”. More ethical tanking I guess. It’s inconsistent though and they’re far from the only offenders, so I still lean more your way.

They desperately needed another guard after trading Dalen Terry

2 months ago 0 1 0 0

Weird they’d make the Conley trade if they were skeptical about Giannis being available. Unless they have a fall back in the form of Ja or something

Their depth with Ipsaro out has been lackluster. A lot of close games

Why the Bulls should be bold and enter the Giannis Antetokounmpo (and Austin Reaves) sweepstakes The Bulls enter the Feb. 5 deadline with an enormous amount of assets. Here's how they can — finally — build a contender.

The Chicago Bulls have been lazy, incompetent, and utterly irrelevant for years.

I decided to change that.
