I saw Angela Lansbury as Rose in London a loooooong time ago. She was awesome. Rosalind Russell is great in the movie. But, I agree, Audra is next level. As usual.

Honestly—as hokey and trivial as this sounds—at a time when individuality and creativity and humanity and the arts are under attack—celebrating all of those things with the Tony awards feels like a very small but meaningful act of resistance.

And all resistance matters.
