and i guess im just a little frustrated lately at how horrible indie/small studio games are with making their games able to be seen. i have this problem in valheim too, to the point where i ended my vanilla playthru to get endless torches just so i could SEE the base at night. :/

Yes, I can make torches/fires, but I spent 1 day saving up 25 copper to buy an axe, then 1 day looking for the axe, and by the time i found a pile of wood it was night again, and i had to wait for day 3 to look for more just so i could see the god damn game

the font is just really small, thin, and anti-aliased to the point where it looks blurry. It has darkness as a mechanic which I personally just hate and feel like I wasted a trait picking up "infravision" and ended up just... doing nothing at night due to the screen being essentially flat black

Played a bit of monsters & memories yesterday. My thoughts: I think it has some potential but I'll probably wait until EA to try it again. I think the monthly price point is a bit steep for what it is; an indie EQ-clone. The interface is really horrible for the visually impaired bc the fonts 1/?

i hate seperating the art from the artist because i think it makes the art less interesting and meaningful, personally.

spoilers: like even though rahul does extraordinarily well the entire season, we're on the danish week episode and they called his bread "awful" and "inedible" because he actually just got too ambitious, too risky and that's why he's was a lot more fun to root for lol
