I like this take. I also wonder how many teams will try, given the uncertainty every year, to acquire more 2027 capital.

I just finished my mock and I have 5 first round trades not counting whatever happens after the fact with AJ Brown. I think some teams (Chiefs; Rams) could move up knowing/hoping they won’t be that high again.

Watch from home. Bathroom access and control over the food are essential. Plus, I can lock in a chair with a back on it.

To me—and this is just my personal take—the late speculation is an invitation to trade up. I think the Jets have had their guy but are going through the typical draft smokescreen process.

I don’t have a crazy QB prediction but I have a totally wild non QB player trade going live on tomorrow’s MMQB. Let’s just say Jeremiyah Love is involved.

I think a lot of players the Jets get are good! Just not when they play for the Jets!

For sure. There’s still like 10 really good players in this draft and the Jets get one of them regardless.

I think if Reese starts to fall Dallas will be interested.

I see Pittsburgh possibly trying to get younger on the edges defensively. But a wide receiver also makes some sense, especially with a shift toward a more McCarthy-centric offense, which is really the vintage Rodgers offense.

But is there a wide receiver with the capacity to fit in with Rodgers?

I remember a similar version of this question being posed about Marcus Mariota and Jameis Winston. As it turns out, neither were really what anyone was looking for!

I think Bailey is underrated in just how good he was as a rusher last year and can fit Post-Glenn as well.

The town and country is discontinued!

In short, yes. I have a more detailed breakdown on this thread you can check out but I loved the move for all three parties. The Giants needed Harbaugh players, the Bengals need an immediate win now player and Dexter can feast against those interior OLs in Cleveland and Baltimore

Jessica! Thanks so much for the question. In my mock running tomorrow, I have them trading out of the pick to Arizona. But I like them taking either an interior OL or inside LB.

That’s hard to say with this class in particular because there are so few first round grades on players. So while there may be first round picks by name, we gotta be quick not to label them busts because in another draft, they’re second round picks

Hey Matt! I’d urge you to check out the latest edition of the MMQB pod. We have a great discussion about that there. But in short, I’d say Philly, the Rams and the Cowboys

The Seahawks Ripped Apart the Patriots’ Weaknesses With Ease Seattle’s defense suffocated a not-yet-tested Drake Maye to cruise to a title in Super Bowl LX.

New England is running out of time to generate a big defensive play that can tip the scales in their favor (though they have been VERY close). No weather complications like Denver. Soon, Seattle won't need to throw as much and be exposed to the blitz.

This is how Seattle wants to play. Strangle New England, force them into max protect. Two blitzes to end the last two drives.

First blitz of the day for Seattle on that last third down. Mike Macdonald rarely pressures but hits when he does. That was a six-man blitz with Witherspoon forcing the throwaway.

After a walk around the concourse, my estimation of jerseys goes as follows:

60% Seahawks
30% VPs and executives from State Farm
10% Patriots

Mike Vrabel’s Face-Tingling Energy Drink Has Become Part of Patriots Culture He chugs it before meetings. He updates players on his daily consumption. ‘I am amazed,’ one player says.

“If you’re not used to [having your face tingle], I can see staying away. But I kind of like it.”

Soft. This is basically how I’ve been moving through the media center all week, if anyone is wondering why I am the way I am.
