Private equity ruining businesses from the inside out yet again. Had always enjoyed going there, but after hearing how all the employees got screwed out of their stock after the selling to private equity I figured it would be all downhill. This just makes it even deader to me.
I keep seeing people say “why aren’t people doing something to stop this?” but this is the endpoint of the consolidation of executive power. There’s very little that can be done! One of the ways we’re going to have to fix things is figuring out what to do about that.
