Cover I painted for Michael Michel's The Price of Power. I've heard the series is really solid, but when is it going to come out on audiobook?! ๐ญ

Thank you ๐ I hope I get to paint them a bunch more
'Voidscarred', another one for Games Workshop/Black Library! I used to collect Eldar, so naturally this one was super cool to paint for them.
We don't talk about the WIP folder ๐ซ
Aaaaah I don't feel that way about it at all ๐ people seem to like it so I want to give it a chance, but otherwise I'm really not happy with it
I wish I could take credit, but I lifted those colours from the heraldries of the knights of Orkney!
Haha, fiiiiiiiiiine, I guess I'll do it
I put this one away in the WIP folder a while back; I really like the energy and the absurd fabric, but I'm not happy with my choices for the armour at all, and I think the pose could be pushed further. I think with some repainting and reposing it could turn out alright
Thank you ๐
My first ever piece for Games Workshop, painted a couple years ago! The cover of Shade of Khaine; this was pretty much a dream come true, Warhammer has always been important to me since I was a kid, and gratefully I've done many more paintings for them since
An old sketch that I like a lot and swear that one day I'll do something with it AND I STILL HAVEN'T
The Crimson Dagger; this one's an old'un but golden! Still quite like the composition
Thank you so much Lauren
๐ the brush did all the work
Thank you so much, you are far too kind!
A thing I've been messing with! Got carried away with brush experimentation on his armour, forgot to work on everything else....
Practicing with some custom brushes and this guy came out.... and I have a good idea how to use him
Sir Gawain, everyone knows him for the Green Knight story, but apparently he was also quite a ladies man, if his title 'The Maiden's Knight' is any indication. Also he's superhuman; when the sun is highest in the sky, it invigorates him with super strength. More than meets the eye!
It's about 7500px wide by 5000 tall. I should put out some timelapses someday....
Endpaper I painted for the Broken Binding special edition of The Riftwar Saga by Raymond E. Feist. Had a good time with this one!
Ahh now that's an interesting idea. I'll take a mental note of that, thanks
Hello wonderful ppl!
As of April I will have time for new projects and possible personal commissions.
I've recently had a few ppl inquire about those and I would love to get back to it this year!
Only so many images can fit here so do check portfolio at dzeljka.artstation.com

It just feels a little bit underwhelming I guess. An angel should feel like a demigod from a greater realm! Something with unfathomable power, that thinks and perceives at a higher level than humanity, and understands the larger plan. My art feels too human in comparison
Yeah, I agree with those as an issue, but for me personally while it isn't quite angelic enough, it also isn't disturbing enough! It's a little too human and earthly
๐
Thank you, that was one part I was happy with!
I have no idea what The Shrike is! Hyperion reference?
Painted a few years ago; I was essentially trying to redesign angels with this one, but I wasn't very happy with the direction.
I agree, I think the client had a good concept for the legion!
