Still value your opinion, love your videos and maybe I'm just missing something, but it feels like you're falling into a narrative because you like Kat as a candidate.
Anyway, hope I'm not coming across as a jerk or an idiot, just wanted to give you a local perspective you might not have.

There were also some local factors that hurt her too, but those are harder to independently verify, so anything I say has to be taken with a grain of salt. She/her campaign made some mistakes (For ex. she missed an Indivisible Edgewater interview that was scheduled because of Narcolepsy).

Kat's fantastic, deciding to vote for Biss was a really hard decision for me, but I think I made the right one. I want Kat to stay involved in Democratic politics, I think they need her, and I look forward to voting for her in a future election.

Another point I feel like was missed, was the fact that Biss was actually the main target from AIPAC in IL-09, believe me as a voter here we got so many attack ads paid by them attacking him, it wasn't until the last week they shifted to attacking Kat. AIPAC was pushing Laura Fine HARD.

I've gotta say, I'm a little disappointed in the video. I was hoping you would cover Biss's record more, and the fact he has been considered a strong progressive in Chicago. When JB Pritzker ran for Gov the first time, he Biss ran against him as the progressive candidate.

Reversal, more than apology, they need to acknowledge the problem, and then do something to fix it.

I genuinely used to LOVE shopping at target (in particular their shirts and shorts)...but I suspect I too will only shop there as a last resort, if ever.

At this point, I'm betting any apology that may or may not happen, won't happen until Trump is long gone, and by then it'll be far too late.

@zaidtmusic.bsky.social I hope you do a video on the IL-09 Democrat Primary, or at least go into some detail on it in another video. I feel like some people are taking the wrong thing out of Kat losing, both in regards to Biss's progressive record and how well she actually did despite it all.

As long as the butter is non dairy! Though I do sometimes cheat and eat cookies with proper butter, even if I pay for it later in the bathroom.

As someone else said, he's pretty well liked in Chicago, current Mayor of Evanston and actually ran against JB Pritzker during his first election as a more progressive candidate (actually voted for him). Kat is waaay better on Media (social and otherwise), but Biss will make a good rep I believe.
