We’re exhausted. Watching this administration push through preventable harm like it’s policy.

It’s anti-science, anti–public health, and people pay the price.

It will take years to repair this.

Good night.😴⚠️

Ahnow.org might be helpful. Could be normal possum stuff, could be "wobbly possum disease".

Either way shelter and calm is a blessing to it. 💖

(5/?) The active duty portion of the CG has been receiving paychecks during this DHS shutdown. But no one seems to know how or why, not even top level leadership for the service. Every paycheck is a new waiting game to see whether this time is the time that it won't come. This is a huge stressor.

After Trump’s comment this morning, Many are calling for the 25th amendment to be invoked; here’s a breakdown on what the 25th amendment is, the pros and cons of using it as a removal strategy, and what we can do instead.

I'm not just a fanboy for your giant stompy robots, I'm also a fired fed!

The damage they're doing is generational.

I can share all sorts of scary things, but none of them are as scary as the fascists being empowered.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad on many levels, but also, how the fuck are we letting this happen?

I’m not a laws of war expert but it’s my impression that just the threat to commit genocide is a war crime. Threatening to destroy a civilization is a war crime, whether or not you carry through. Not that the sort of people who support Trump care.

…assertion that RA’s were being captured and killed.

If I was a reporter, there is enough here for a foia!

So last night a crazy ass emails that made almost no sense to the recipients went out from what was reported to be from Shana Weir (assistant secretary for admin hhs) but came from a generic EEOC RA email address. 🧵🧵🧵

This email was in regards to ppl having RA’s or Reasonable Accomidations.

What's less stress? I'd gladly take more time of AstroKatie content overall than any specific formfactor of content. 💖

"Rule of cool" is 100% load bearing in BattleTech. Literally none of it makes sense.

Ignore physics, there's rules for disembarking a falling sky base... Like, that's just how the universe works there, and no, none of it survives rigor against our normal rules. Neither does starwars or trek. 💖

I mean, I'm still a fan of quitmanga. gov

But that one at least is for a town in the state of Georgia.

FFS, there used to be people at GSA who stewarded that registrar, they got attacked too. 💔

I think Hitchcock developed a cure some time back, with a convenient applicator.

DC power has always been where data centers have been meaning to go. At least thirty years of it.

I'm thinking of der8auer and the melted graphics card connections still though.

Reasonable accommodation is not a perk. It is a legal requirement so people with disabilities can work safely.

Ignoring medical guidance, delaying decisions, and removing effective accommodations raises deep legal and ethical concerns.

Note that this chart shows all the way up to 20% agree.

This is... staggering. Even the fevs hasn't shown data this bad.

Also, love for my cfpb folks @ 0%

DOGE had a culture of blatant disregard for the law & somehow still increased government spending.

If true, this another example of their reckless leadership putting millions of Americans at risk.

We deserve secure systems, data guardrails, and federal workers empowered to protect our privacy.

Thinking about servicing update.exe without breaking all the back compat ever is even scarier, imo

Three reboot minimum, with a run or die shell script in the middle reboot. On failure of that step, just :: shrug ::

Official guidance was to reinstall.

I was in the room when they figured out that Vista SP1, for all the engineering in the CBS stack and everything else, would not be the first no-reboot SP.

The CBS team forgot that they were also a component, and thus their stack couldn't service itself originally.

Photo of Hegseth talking with a general blurred in foreground. Text reads: BREAKING
NEWS. U.S. troops were told the Iran war is part of God's plan, and Trump was "anointed by Jesus to light the signal fire in Iran to cause Armageddon and mark his return to Earth."

This from the same mfers who would have attempted to deport Jesus if he came to US soil…
