Today is the 4th anniversary of the worst ever tragedy in the Channel.

At least 27 men, women & children drowned in the freezing water, & 4 more have never been found.

Since then, neither we nor the French have done a thing to offer people in this situation with real solutions.

This week our families enjoyed watching Encanto with a screening from Cardiff Animation Festival.

We also got creative with cupcake and biscuit decorating and today we enjoyed some lovely storytelling with Cath.

Wonderful donation from our friends at Grangetown Primary School. Croeso! 💙

We served 31,300 lunches in 2024. We wouldn't be able to do this without our amazing kitchen team, volunteers, funders & generous food donations.

Donations welcome for rice, pasta, tinned tomatoes, coconut milk & beans.

After a weekend of hate and violence, here's a reminder that sanctuary seekers are always welcome in Wales.

The demonstrations over the weekend were nothing short of disgraceful.

Seeking asylum is a human right and Wales is made all the richer for welcoming refugees.

Speaking Up for the Environment & Climate Refugees: Souleymane's story Souleymane created “Voix Verte”, Green Voice, to talk all things environment, including raising awareness about climate refugees.

A passion for the environment inspired Voix Verte, or Green Voice, a podcast for all things environmental.

“I was trying to find something really to express all of this knowledge. Like, climate refugees an how nature around us is really important.”

Our talented Oasis band, The Gambas, performed at the @llangollen1947.bsky.social this year with the One World Choir singing powerful songs to describe the special bond of being sanctuary seekers here in Wales and being 'free to fly' and to 'dream of love' 🕊️
