The Guardian revealed that in 2003, Syngenta scientists (on a second attempt) replicated external research linking 🧪paraquat to Parkinson’s-related neurotoxicity. The 2003 Syngenta study was disclosed to the EPA in 2019 and reported when court documents were reviewed by The Guardian in 2022.

Minnesota maintains a database of pesticide sales.

In 2024, 125,000 pounds of paraquat were sold for use on crops in Minnesota.
