Look, I know we're all sick of hearing "if this had happened with any other president ..." but it's absolutely true and absolutely can't be forgotten.
For some reason, this nation gives this idiotic spoiled brat a free pass from things that would destroy the administration of any other person.

I want more people to care that SNAP benefits are being cut off on November 1. 40% of SNAP beneficiaries are children. This is callous and vile.

Donald Trump is trying to fire nearly every federal worker who supports special needs education.
It’s kids with disabilities who will suffer.
The cruelty is the point.
"asked if he was 'comfortable' with cuts that had reportedly decimated special education services...
'I haven’t seen the specifics of that and I don’t know'...
But those so-called “details” Johnson overlooked are quickly coming to light—and they’re a huge problem"

Rewriting reality.
The Education Department laid off nearly everyone at the Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services.
I know Trump and his minions all have sneering contempt for kids with special needs, but trust me when I say that their parents will absolutely fucking destroy anyone who messes with the special education supports to which they are entitled by law.
There are reports that the *entire* office of special education at the US Dept of Education has been cut. These hardworking folks ensure kids with disabilities get equal access to a quality education.
America’s children deserve better than this.
That’s not how science works dip shit.
The Department of Education wants to end the requirement that states collect & report data on racial disparities in special education.
This a week after they announced that they are going to ask almost 2,000 colleges to vastly expand their data collection around race, admissions, & financial aid.
The people who say we talk too much about slavery are the same ones who insist that we need public monuments and statues of men who are famous solely for waging a war of treason in defense of slavery.
Statues that were created explicitly to deny any sense of "hope and progress" after the Civil War.
Congratulations!

President Bone Spurs isn’t afraid to put men and women who volunteered to serve in harms way.
The President's disastrous decision to bomb Iran without authorization is a grave violation of the Constitution and Congressional War Powers. He has impulsively risked launching a war that may ensnare us for generations. It is absolutely and clearly grounds for impeachment.
AOC: “It is absolutely and clearly grounds for impeachment.”

Headshot of William Schmidt
We saddened by the passing of esteemed education scholar William Schmidt. Dr. Schmidt was an AERA Fellow, recipient of the AERA Distinguished Contributions to Research in Education Award, and served as chair of the governing board of the AERA-NSF Grants Program.
I  know your goal is to try to make life as hard as possible for immigrants.
Congratulations!!!
