A bed of irises and day lilies, in pre flower greenness
Dogwood blossoms filling the screen
A May Apple plant with the beginning of a bud in the center
Deep blue sky with a single osprey in flight in the bottom left 1/3 of the screen
Spring is in full force here and I saw a pair of Ospreys on my last walk along the Greenway. My phone is a poor substitute for a true camera, for this kind of thing, but I was able to capture one of them as it flew over the river.
Buttercup being a very good girl, at the arboretum. I loved this sculpture.

Barely opened Dogwood blossoms. They’d be nearly invisible in the late morning sun if it wasn’t for the trunk of a huge pine tree in the #background. #BlueSkyArtShow
A tiny triangle of stone casting a westward shadow across the worn surface of a paving stone
The sharply carved corner edge of a square stone grave marker, lit on the eastern face by the morning sun, in shadow on the west

Just one more, because I enjoy a split rail fence. #horizontal #BlueSkyArtShoe
Even after extensive cleanup there are still hundreds of fallen trees in every town and neighborhood. This area is clearer than many. 18 months post hurricane Helene at the Asheville arboretum #horizontal #BlueShyArtShow
The early morning sun was glowing in the most beautiful way between #two crossed branches the other day. There was a lot of moisture in the air and the haze was almost golden one minute and silver the next. The tree also had #two trunks. #BlueSkyArtShow
Two unopened daffodil blooms, facing left into the frame. Green stems and leaves surround them on the right side.
Three massive wooden columns in front of a green wall. To the left of the first column sunlight through a stained glass window makes a multicolored line of light

At the right time of day sunlight will perfectly replicate the patterns from a stained glass window. At a concert recently it was the perfect time for me to be sitting in the balcony
Daffodil leaves and flower buds in the snow
Crocus leaves in the snow
Just a hint of daffodil leaves in the snow
This was an unexpected, but very very welcome, sight at the beginning of February. Daffodils and crocuses already popping up through the snow! Thank you, lovely little plant people, for brightening my day.
We finally had some snow today. It’s been 3 years since the last one.
Buttercup was delighted!
The mist froze on everything this morning. #BlueSkyArtShow #cold
A labradoodle with hair standing on end from static electricity
When it’s #cold outside the air inside is dry. Even with a humidifier we experience static electricity. Just a little shocking 😂 #blueskyartshow
Minnesota’s justice system will have the last word.
“We anticipated this time of trial, but we still pray:
"Líbranos del mal — deliver us from evil.”

Jesus placed a child in the midst of his disciples, took him in his arms, and stated, "Whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me welcomes not me but the one who sent me."
But ICE? kidnapping children.
What is happening right now is demonic. This is evil.

"Claim all the room there still is for speaking, writing, publishing, protesting, voting.
It’s what the people of Minnesota appear to be doing, and it’s something each of us needs to do — right now, while we still can..."
