a woman is standing outside (at the entrance door, at the top of a set of steps) a large multi-story building with a lot of windows. a red sports car is parked at the bottom of the steps. a large disembodied woman's head is in the sky, looking at the building.

I love that stuff! It’s cool! I will take it in my games any day. But beyond the world of like three masterfully used sample CDs is an equally cool world of MC Conrad or DRS coming out with the fastest, goofiest and most life-giving bars over the Sound of the Future circa nineteen-ninety-something.
I do hope the algorithm-served may one day awaken to there being more to drum and bass than what is in a Japan-only PlayStation game and go and put on a Progression Sessions vocal mix or something

Playing Dillon's Rolling Western in particular has exasperated the metallic paint peel of my New 3DS XL. I wish there was some way I could get it serviced like a car; deep clean, new battery, shell etc handled by someone who knows what they're doing. I basically just want it to last forever.
simplified fighter vs fighter, black screen, two fighters, one red, taka, and one white, kenji, their health bars up top. kenji is letting off a purple fireball, while taka is doing some sortof jump kick.

I also want the swordsman + dancing shrine maiden combo from Kunitsu-gami in a fighting game somehow but I have no idea how you would make that interesting aside from villager summons or something
We need Diana & Hugh in a versus game pronto. 8-way thruster air dashes, wall bounces with that ridiculously crunchy shotgun and zoning shenanigans with hacking mines. Lots of high five victory poses. Make it happen Capcom!

Animal Crossing at 25. In that time it became pretty fine but the specific murky + quirky 64DD-core weirdo magic of the OG left a strong impression on me. I hope, unlikely as it is, a bit of that can creep back someday and we trade the sunshiny islands for the cool and shady ‘Animal Forest’ again.
I can’t get my head around Vanpool in the current time! Born to make non-mass market appealing touchscreen game-things about pointy freaks (Dillon, Tingle et al), forced to make Kirby multiplayer side-game freebie whateversoft.

Playing Yakuza 0 over the long weekend and simply can’t stop thinking about the alternate universe where this is a Streets of Rage RPG.

a person in front of a keyboard (one hand on the keyboard, the other raised with a musical note in their hand) with a screen for a head, wearing shades. music is on the screen. musical self playing instruments with faces surround them (drum, guitar, saxophone, triangle). there is also an old bald man with a thick mustache/beard standing behind sheets of music and a musical note with a face next to the keyboard.

A game that I wish were nearly as Extreme as the marketing implied! netizen.club/~wildweasel/...
why the fuck did they say this to each other. they are Bros.
If I had known Pikmin 4 was actually a little guy running around the house game I wouldn't have played it back to back with Chibi-Robo. Both are as fine as they come but the latter is what truly speaks the language of my soul

Good morning, and TFI Friday! Feels like this has been a week, so maybe it’s time to crack out the special controllers. 🥲
I had the pleasure of playing Sin & Punishment for the first time recently. It managed to totally suck me into its world even with it having an in-game story that feels like it needs some context from an instruction manual or something. Also I cannot stop thinking about that aircraft carrier stage!
As a kid with no money at the time, I sure loved opening up Game Room and just looking around it, as though trying to manifest something happening in the empty rooms.
