I think Kimber is missing his brother Jinks, who passed away last week. If he can't groom his brother, he's apparently going to groom me.
The top of my head is suspiciously clean and slightly damp now. Will be recording tomorrow. Hopefully without a cat on my head...

Apologies - this week's video is going to be late. Our neighbours have decided to have an incredibly loud 2-3 day house party, and the back of our house (where my office is) is unusable because of noise. You'd better believe I'm VERY GRUMPY about this.
My entirely accidental Freddy Krueger cosplay at work today. Note to self: fit check before leaving house….
Choir member got me to wear a hearing aid loop today and he was SO happy to be able to hear me properly. I needed a little win in the face of all the darkness in the world today, and this was it, alongside my beloved choir members singing beautifully.
Struggling to find positivity today. January is bleeding money (kitchen equipment replacement, new glasses, cat needs operation) and the Western world is falling to Fascism (Literally)
Decided to have takeaway pizza. Fuckit.
Advantages of doing loads of work yesterday is that I have today free for reading: Catherine Nixey’s “Heresy” continues to be an excellent insight into the subject of “free choice” in religion.
All hail the inevitable Marmot song! I can’t even remember what the actual piece of music is called…
Carol singers in red T-shirts
Small group of singers, but big sound! Carols in the community on Saturday with Ermine Music!
Is ‘Fragrant Jewels’ a specific thing? Perfumed jewellery?
Large group of carol singers under Victorian street lamp.
The end of November and first 24 days of December are crazy for choir leaders and community music directors. Everyone wants live music. I wish this interest carried through the rest of the year…. Support your local music makers so they will be here next holiday season too!
Huge thanks to all the singers, participants, audience members and organisers who were part of last night’s “Light Up a Life” commemoration. It is such a special event, and so close to our hearts. My choirs sang their hearts out - I couldn’t be prouder!
There’s something truly magical about moonlight on fresh snow…. This morning were deep into melting slush territory, but last night was glorious, even in the middle of the city.
First real frost of the year means I don’t want to get out of my fluffy dressing gown :-(
I bought myself a tarot deck I didn’t need but desperately wanted. It is AMAZING, and makes me heart sing.
Day started with washing machine failing to drain, so that was a joy.
Rewatch of “The VVitch” to relax before bed.
I may have somewhat unconventional tastes in relaxing viewing!
Oops. Learning to spell check. That should have been “dementia folx “
“Have you got a quiet day today?” asked the Husbandly Unit. No. No, I have not. 2.5 hours of sing along for dementia told and their carers, then to a fabric sale with Daughterly Unit. Then straight to evening choir with added personnel ahead of next Tuesday’s HUUUGE performance. Finish @10pm.
I’ve been complaining for years that Social Media is getting increasingly difficult to use. So I’m happy to try something that seems less poisonous. Let’s give it a whirl!
