The newly formed squad of Storm pups were having their first one-on-one test, where they’ll have to test their skills and roles in battle. Khuja’a and Frutlona passed the test with flying colours. They managed to understand their own strengths and weaknesses quite fast. The two storm commanders were looking forward to the mock battle between the role of a healer against a guardian. Little did they know about Rosa’s unique healing style, which incorporates physical touch in the form of a healer monk. To their surprise, and Yuuko’s as well, Rosa held some kind of grudge against people who don’t take their roles seriously. Yuuko was NOT anticipating such fast attacks from a ‘supposed’ healer which led to both of them failing their test. “I won’t accept you as our guardian!! This role doesn’t fit weaklings like you!!” Rosa shouted at Yuuko as the Roegadyn commander held her down, stopping her from further attacking Yuuko. “High-strung hounds like you should be healing and protecting instead of trying to fill an already occupied role! CHEATER!” Yuuko shouted back at Rosa as the Lalafell commander held her back, stopping her from retaliating at Rosa.

Few days after the incident, Yuuko was depressed because she failed a simple mock battle test. She was hoping to wind down and relax by visiting her neighbour’s house. Yuusei was doing her routine training in the garden as Inari was taking her beauty nap.

Yuuko sighed “So, I failed my test few days ago. All coz of that Gyr Abanian hound! ...say Mrs.Nagakawa, as someone who uses the art of the fist, have you got any tips for me on how to fight back? I am trying to be a guardian but that bloody hound’s standing in my way! UGH!” Both Yuusei and Inari were stunned in two different ways. Yuusei wasn’t used to many insults thrown in a single sentence which caught her off guard. While Inari was enjoying Yuuko’s anger. “If you are so mad at this ‘hound’, why not ask us to train you? I’ll gladly teach you all those weak spots! You’ll instantly win without breaking a sweat.” “Inari!!! don’t fan her angry flames!! Look, uhm Miss Fyrwyn—” “Just call me by me name~”

“...uhm Yuuko-san, We’ll be glad to be your training partners, as long as you wake up early and meet us here every morning. You must be serious with time.” “REALLY?! You will?! Are you sure? you won’t be busy with your shop?! if not, then I promise I will be here early! I’ll keep training and make both of you proud by beating that prickly paissa!” “Ehe Yuuko-san, the battle of the mind is the more important one. Your main foe is your mistrust in your own abilities. Keep your focus on your feet and legs! Since you already have a strong sense of control with your steps. So training tomorrow will be mostly on footwork techniques.” Yuuko nodded excitedly at Yuusei “Awright!! Thank you very much Mrs.Nagakawa! I’ll be faster than a coeurl in no time!”
