Someone close to me said they tried to connect with their dad who passed recently, but couldn’t. And maybe this mediumship thing isn’t real, because their dad loved them and he would have definitely have sent a message if it was real. What would you say to her?

You can’t just turn off that negative voice in your head. The harder you try, the louder it gets. But when we partner with ourselves—embracing our shadow sides with compassion—harmful self-talk softens and dissipates on its own, like fog on a spring morning.

Thinking a lot about grief. I used to think it was the soul who had difficulty coming through in readings soon after death, but recently a man sharing the details of his funeral with me altered my belief - it’s the sitter’s grief that blocks the communication, Spirit can do anything.
