Heating up: Towards a new generation of warm home schemes The next ECO scheme should focus on consumers’ needs, be delivered through area-based partnerships, and have a specific focus on health and social outcomes.

We've set out the key pillars we see as essential to designing the next generation of warm home schemes, delivered locally through area based partnerships, centred around the consumer experience, targeting health and social outcomes. es.catapult.org.uk/report/heati...

ECO is dead. It's easier to try to rebuild public trust in fuel poverty and energy efficiency schemes when you burn the previous government's policy down rather than tinker with it. It is, however, harder to keep supply chains going and the industry's capacity to be there and rebuild it with you.

Fuel poverty isn’t just a social challenge, it’s a climate challenge. Millions of UK homes are still cold, and if national warm home programmes don’t evolve, neither will our progress on Net Zero.

The Living Lab The Living Lab is a network of volunteers from all around the UK, who help researchers understand how real people use energy in real-life settings.

Fancy getting a new efficient, heating system for free?

We're looking for homeowners with electric heating and smart meters to join our research project (note we are looking for quite a select target group - so please pass on to anyone you think might fit the bill/benefit).
