He’d finally found out that he had a rare autoimmune disease & was on the mend. I think I last spoke to him at Christmas. I’m told he took a turn for the worse, though, & passed suddenly yesterday. It’s not fucking fair.

I lost a friend last night. We were close back in the Twitter days & was instrumental in convincing me to first visit & then move to Chicago. But as it goes, we eventually drifted apart, staying in touch here & there. He’d been sick for a while & spending much of last year in & out of hospitals.

Started watching Traitors last night and was immediately hooked. I am completely caught up on the season and will be SEATED for the next episode.

Probably a hot take: Eragon is just Star Wars with dragons.
