I’ve stopped saying I like Indie Rock™️ because of bands like this. When a really unremarkable band breaks through in a big way it ALWAYS seems suspect to me. There are so many bands that get no traction and then THIS one breaks through? Not buying it anymore.

The only weakness is the gear Tony used in 81 to replicate the Mellotron (ARP Quadra) didn't quite do the job. The Synclavier and Emulator would improve that a few years later, but like Stuart said the medley arrangement got more awkward.

I think the 3 Sides version of "In The Cage" and the Savoy 81 version of "Firth of Fifth" (the B side of the "That's All" 12") are the two best Genesis live recordings because of the tempo, energy and sound quality.
