Intriquing prompt. So difficult to pin down to one story, you need to consider numerous genres. I write across many genres myself, but main focus is mystery, suspense, Gothic, horror, psychological thrillers. I'd have to choose, then, something in Gothic style of The Picture of Dorian Gray.
