A fun rom-com about grief and moving on. A bit of an oxymoron,I know, but the banter is great. The jokes and puns are just my humor and I really did appreciate how supportive these friendships really are.

It felt like reading Clue meets Groundhog's Day in a good way. A fun locked room mystery from book club last fall!
Devastated the series is over, thrilled to see my favorites happy, and content knowing this isn't *really* the last we'll see from the GW gang since #CambricCreek is full of fun cameos. This was the series that truly got me into romance and it will always have a special place in my heart.

A gray and white cat lays in front of an open book about loom weaving so the reader can't see the pages
I guess we're skimming through the weaving book I borrowed from the library together.
Dreaming of sunny summer beaches while waiting for +20 inches of snow to arrive. Loved this romp of a romance!
French magistrate Magali Lafourcade explains how Trump sent people from his administration trying to get from her information corroborating the idea that Le Pen's trial for embezzlement was politically motivated.
A car screen showing the book title Can I Tell You Something by Holly June Smith has an overlay of the Hoopla screenshot with the book cover showing the listener completed the book.
My first true duet narration and it was perfect for this novel. It was sexy, on the shorter side, and such a fun read even outside the holiday season!
That time of the year when I go back through my phone and post the photos I forgot I took of bookish things I did! When Sarah Estep told me the Brunch Bros were getting a recover after the last book came out, I wanted to grab the rest of the set with the original covers for a matching set.
I've never been so happy to see a toxic ex kicked to the curb, not once, but TWICE!
A (late) ARC, 2 library books, a book club pick, and a buddy read with my partner (his suggestion!) made for a fun month of reading in November!
I forgot you're on here now, @worksbyabigail.bsky.social so I can tag you in these ๐
Image shows manga covers for volumes 1, 3, 4, and 5 of Centaurs by Ryo Sumiyoshi but not volume 2 because it's not part of the catalog collection at this time.
The heartbreak when the only volume your library *doesn't* have is volume 2! ๐ญ๐
I annotate in my Kindle, which makes remembering what happened a lot easier when you're reacting along with events. I got in the habit while buddy reading and sharing thoughts with friends on discord!
Accidental vampires? Mafia families? Morally gray men with hearts of gold? Women who take no shit? This book has it all! Abigail Kelly does it again!
Do I keep forgetting this app is here? Yes. But I do eventually remember and that counts for something, right?
Can you bask in the afterglow glow of a series? Because that's how I felt finishing this book. I love the Brunch Bros and am sad these books are over, but I'm thrilled knowing it's not the last we'll see of Crane Cove โค๏ธ
A good month of reading in the books.
Sometimes you just need to listen to a comfort read and color in a coloring book to deal with the trauma of the world. So Flocked is one of those comfort books for me and I was so excited to see that my library's Hoopla catalog has copies available of both Sarah Estep's new audiobooks!
This was a surprise hit in book club this month. It was a fun mix of pop culture references and magical fantasy realm. And I do love a good, snarky footnote.

Love at first bite? That's ok, he's into it. Go get yourself a copy of @worksbyabigail.bsky.social latest release Sanguine!
I just saw my library has it as a digital loan too! Immediate TBR add!
They're queer, they're here, and they're going to steal your hoard. Maybe? How Not To Date A Dragon but Lana Kole was a fun adversaries-to-lovers romance featuring an NB treasure hunter and the dragon they're attempting to fleece of his treasure hoard.
Dinner date with a book? Don't mind if I do. I ended up loving this book so much by the end. It had such wonderful character growth and both Kit and Percy were just a delight.
"I will not be a footnote. I'm the whole damn book."
I loved Emmy putting Ryan in his place throughout the book. We love a man who does his homework & Ryan puts in the work AND the extra credit. I was dying for them to get together & once they did, it was straight fire.
Happy Pi Day from my kitchen to yours!
Brains are so mean to us. I'm glad chatting has helped! Wishing you good luck getting through all this ๐
As much as it sucks, better to let him work through what he needs to from that trauma before starting a new relationship. Let him unpack that baggage a bit and organize himself before starting that journey together. At best you cab try to leave that door open for him when he is ready.
Ooof. That's so hard. Military life is *hard* and I'm definitely not military wife material, so I'm glad I dodged that bullet. And just coming out of a toxic relationship, he's probably a bit nervous about the possibility of the next one (whether he realizes it or not). +
