My cats mood today. Guessing that's a no to going outside?

Well gotta be honest, a 4 coach train down the Medway valley (usually 3), on a weekend, in the sun feels like someone enabled challenge mode for my duty today! Ah well, onwards.....

Sponsored by the country that told us that lead in fuel is safe, efficient and most definitely the future. Well, here's yet another problem our kids kids will pay for.

We've all had those "oh FFS" moments. AI spaghetti monitoring is a thing if you've got the hardware laying around.

Morning mist rolls thick across the Kent fields. Somewhere beyond this fog, the day waits to unfold. Humidity’s high after last night's storm and visibility’s low, but the rails still hum their steady song.
It's still early so it's still eery as we roll by on empty stock to Maidstone.

Agreed and I think it's part of a larger disregard for safety advice that I'm seeing. And more specifically for this issue, Network Rail could put out near miss videos more frequently. Get it part of the national conversation perhaps.

Sad news this morning and whilst I don't know the particulars, it's worth reminding people that messing with level crossings is a daft idea that will get you killed because whatever you think you know, something weighing a great many tons will prove you wrong in a way your family should never see!

Love it! You can always count on Germans to say it as they see it

And an entire generation that doesn't know how to use a phone!
"So I just hold it out in front of me, not quite at arms length and shout?"
Where are they learning this? You could give a phone to a gibbon and they'd figure it out!

YMMV but I've had it on my Pixel for a while and managed to ignore it. It does what it's supposed to do when I ask it and I don't dig deep into AI lore enough to care about the additional stuff.

Well I'm certainly having to be on my best behaviour working this tonight!
Lots of peeps with cameras out tonight. Thankfully they're likely taking far better pictures and videos than I ever could.

I fear they might be doing Catholicism wrong if they find they don't align with the Pope!

Sussex belle at rest in London Victoria

This morning at Victoria, the Sussex Belle rolled in, sun catching the steam just right. For a moment, the station fell quiet apart from the chugging diesel at the other end —modern schedules paused for a bit of living history. Days like this remind me why the rails still feel like magic.

Sea wall near Dover from the train

Good morning Bluesky! My phone has brightened this substantially but it's truly a beautiful sunrise this morning. It may have no phone signal for 10 mins and 4 long tunnels but this section of track between Folkestone and Dover offers some incredible views. Righto, off to London shortly!

Not sure I understand what the 33% have gained and at this point a drawing with crayons would maybe help explain it?

Good morning folks.
And a beautiful morning it is too. Lovely view today from the iron road on the way in towards London from mid Kent.
Day 9 of 10 and then into my spring leave. I reckon it's time to break the shorts out upon my return ☀️

I was using your work just the other day to help inspire a niece who's doing a transportation project. Those that hear first hand should feel extremely lucky 👏

Ah, may just be unlucky then but it's been a couple of rolls now and they have tangles all the way down!
I have a BBL P1S and an A1 Mini. Loved my ender 3 and 5. Still have those absolute workhorses but tucked away for now.

I found overture to be a solid brand of filament, reliable, no tangles and good quality prints. Having an absolute mare with eSun. Tangling constantly and extremely unreliable. Just burning (painfully slowly) through some supplies I have left and Overture/BBL will be my go to brands

He's that annoying boss that takes all the credit. There are some incredibly clever people at SpaceX and you're doing them a disservice. This failure will spur them on. What budget the money comes out of has no bearing and to say otherwise is playing to Elmo's tune of cutting for cuttings sake.

Ok, I got bored and looked it up and apparently it's been a thing for 2-3 years. So called green gold.
