For the top 1% however, that labor part drops again and around 10% point is labeled “vpb”, ie. corporate tax, due to the use of personal holding companies et cetera. The share of corporate tax grows for the top 0.1% to around 17% and the top 0.01% only pay around 2% in labor taxes and over 20% in corporate taxes, giving them the lowest tax level of the group at around 27.5%
I wish this was true! The Netherlands also has a regressive tax system in practice: that figure applies to labor but the top 0,01% parks their income in companies with a way way lower tax.
