When I visited France to visit the locales the impressionists had painted, I had to stop by Provence to see if the lavender fields there were as beautiful as I had heard. When I drove up onto the high and windy plateaus of Provence, with the Swiss Alps far in the distance, I was immediately captivated by the rolling plains of purple lavender rows. This painting captures the feeling of being in Provence, surrounded by beauty in every direction.

There is a special kind of magic in those who find wonder in life’s simple yet profound moments—those who greet the sunrise with hope, watch the sunset with gratitude, and lose themselves in the vastness of a starry sky or the gentle glow of a full moon.

She doesn’t reflect the principles of human decency, but what politician actually does. UCP have been oozing across the floor, one by one to save themselves, it’s disgusting 😏

Alberta First Nations and Farmers Want Review of Massive Carbon Capture Project | The Tyee The groups fear governments will skip an environmental assessment as part of a plan to fast-track a pipeline to the West Coast.

Mark Carney & Danielle Smith want "a multi-billion-dollar toxic waste site" and a 600-km pipeline with a kilometre-wide "kill zone" around it built without delay, to support a vast expansion of oilsands mining in #Alberta in the face of a rapidly heating planet.

A snowy evening in Nara Park. In the foreground, a leafless tree is rimed with snow and frost; beyond, a lone female figure walks past, carrying an umbrella as protection from the falling snow. Further on, the still surface of Sarusawa Pond stretches out toward more snow-covered trees on the far side of the water. In the distance, the shape of Kohfukuji Temple's five-story pagoda is a dim silhouette among shadowy trees, standing against an overcast sky. Snow continues to fall across the scene.

A snowy evening by the Sumida River, in Tokyo. A solitary figure wearing a kimono and carrying an umbrella stands beneath a tall, snow-plastered tree on the banks of the river; nearby, a building is concealed behind a fence, just its roof visible above snowy trees. Small boats travel on the still surface of the cold-looking river beyond, and a layer of fresh snow covers everything, as more snow falls from an overcast sky

How Alberta Plans to Kill Public Health Care Across Canada | The Tyee A new law opens the door for two-tier care that would destroy medicare.

"Will the federal government remain silent on the potential for multiple violations of the Canada Health Act? Will civil society be compelled to seek a court order to force the federal government to enforce the Canada Health Act?"

Probably.

Yup, and she also attempted to put a provincial police force in place a while ago. This all echos exactly what’s happening in the US, in a Canadian version 😕

It matters who’s in power. I voted to avoid Trump bibles, ICE gestapo in Canada. Carney isn’t required to do this alone. NDP want to get elected again, they can work on policy, changes to our tax laws, alongside Carney’s cabinet. I voted for feeding hungry children, and stopping foreign influence.

The Liberals and NDP have had years to break up grocery monopolies in Canada. Wealthy have threatened to leave Canada if we tax more, they’re more than welcome to leave. Medium to small businesses will gladly take their place, solve wealth inequality in our country. Same goes for food production.

Nazi X/Twitter needs to explode, 600 million users need to delete their accounts. Americans can make that happen, the world can make that happen.

I think actually Nazi Elon owns the US government, and Evil Putin controls it, but yeah, sounds awful either way we say it 😔

Not buying a Tesla?, most Canadians can’t afford a Tesla, tell wealthy Canadians to do that. Not wealthy Canadians and the world could start deleting their 600 million Nazi X/Twitter accounts. Stop funding a Nazi movement requiring the peaceful to be an armed resistance ❤️✌️Just a thought, carry on

Agreed, there is a time for the peaceful to arm themselves, and defend our peace.

The world could start with deleting their 600 million Nazi X/Twitter accounts. Stop funding the Nazi movement that’s requiring the peaceful to take up an armed resistance ❤️✌️

Just a thought, carry on

Americans are asking what they can do. Nazi ICE is directly funded by the richest Nazi in the world. Not funding Nazi Elon is the first step. There are other sources of information. The American resistance is not going to happen by reading X/Twitter reposts.

I agree, it is so bad, Americans won’t even delete their X/Twitter accounts, that are directly endorsing and funding their demise, by Nazi Elon Musk.

Elon is buying politicians and paid for the Trump Dictatorship 😔

There are an estimated 14.6 million Canadians using X/Twitter directly supporting Nazi Elon Musk. Step up Canadians and delete your X/Twitter account, or step out of the way.

I’m boycotting X/Twitter, and signed a petition to have it banned in my country. I’m taking note of everyone reposting from X/Twitter on Bluesky, and I will unfollow, not follow, not like, not repost anyone or anything that’s from X/Twitter.
I think it speaks volumes about me, and my character ❤️✌️
