Common Side Effects is the best show that I hear too little about. Animated show on Max by Mike Judge and the folks behind Scavenger’s Reign (another banger.) It’s hilarious, surprising, moving and profoundly relevant. Full recommendation.

i've learned to at least appreciate what the initial proponents of this field, for establishing a good basis of "what is." but it has always been 90% 'culturally' untrue in some contexts.
theres an aspect of modern psychology, in the assessment/clinical way, that i find very interestingly disconnected in my reality. i dislike that it is based off of basically the US healthcare system where it's all labeling and diagnosing rather than using preventative methods, all for quick cash. 💰
