Returned from my short vacation to Dublin the afterneeon. It was a mess. but it was fun. I certainlys did spend way too much money . And I want to visit that city again.

Met a fursuiter on my last evening in Dublin.

In total the trip took us something like 15 hours. My friend did the math: If we drove by car throgh France and then took the ferry to Ireland, it would have taken us just five hours more.

Not to the airport, we had to take an expensive express bus to the airport because the railway line to the airport is under construction. There we FINALLY got to the plane to Dublin.

So we had to take an ICE from Frankfurt Airport Station via Mannheim, Stuttgart, Ulm to Augsburg. From Augsburg we had to take a local train to a station in the suburbs of Munich. From there a S-Bahn to Munich central station .

Let me tell you about my Odyssey: Normally the flight from Frankfurt to Dublin would have taken five hours max. But the flight was cancelled because of a strike of Lufthansa pilots and cabin crews. So the replacement flight was going from Munich airport.

Jesus what a hell of a ride.
