Airbnb is basically Uber now changing prices every 30 minutes

I’ve had it happen so many times where men will pretend like they are interested in what I’m saying but clearly have other motives. It just puts me on the defensive and I end up not talking to other men. Which is already true I usually only approach other women at networking events.

I’m not sure about the disable statement. But for me explicitly stating in a conversation about how I’m looking for work and we’re talking about state of industry, tech stacks, AI, to then just pivot and ask me out to dinner let’s me know you they had no actual interest

Having a whole 10-15 minute conversation about tech just to do a bait n switch and ask me out to dinner 😒

In all honesty some men make IRL networking events draining. Getting hit on or having comments made about my appearance ‘you’re beautiful’ makes it feel like I’m at a bar and that’s not why I go to professional events 😩

Jollof rice and chicken thighs with carrots and green peppers, onions on side. Basically blended tomatoes, red pepper, onion, ginger, jalapeños(didn’t have scotch bonnet or habanero) mixed in curry blend spices in pot, boiled, then poured in some rice, cooked for like 45min and hoped for the best 🤷🏽‍♀️
