Him, MTG, Liz Cheney... rats fleeing the sinking ship are still rats. They don't get kudos for following their rat instincts. Fuck all of them.

We need organization and a leader. One of the things we could all do is stop putting money in a 401k. All this corrupt market manipulation is fed by the billions of dollars that average people pump in every day.

Speaking of Washington, starvation and disease at Valley Forge killed 2000 of our soldiers. One of my multiple-great grandfathers had typhus (rampant there, among other diseases), too sick to cross the Delaware.

Hegseth is insane.

I'm constantly asking myself - what's their end game? What's the goal? An authoritarian Christian-fascist police state? Do they even think that far ahead? All they seem to be good at is breaking everything and terrorizing people, because they enjoy it.

I guess they pretend to be too stupid to connect the dots, while believing that we are too.

Reminder: It's not domestic terrorism if it's white supremacists protecting their white supremacy.

They can all pray it away.

I'm so sick of these pieces of shit evading and lying. Her problem is with the ethics committee, not him? How about if you take ethics seriously on your own, asshole.

Same. Fastest 10 years of my life. We've lost a lot more since then. Different genre, but John Prine was especially devastating for me. And that was 6 years ago already...

I'll also point out that "unsafe" is also a lame way to describe him. What he promotes will literally kill people. Replace unsafe with lethally dangerous.

"Incompetent but also lazy" would be a better choice than "unserious." Why are we pulling punches?

People who save their money don't want lower interest rates. The people who play with other people's money want to do that for free. So they clamor for low rates when it makes no sense to the overall economy, just _their_ economy. They're leeches.

Exactly. And how many Democrats voted Yes on appointments of objectively insane people to powerful positions? It's opposition party cosplay.

Insane, isn't it? For example, how can one man withhold Congressionally approved funding from my state CO, or dismantle research facilities, out of retribution or extortion? It's ludicrous.

They're complicit. What they'll say is "markets sink after Rump posts..." or "markets rebound after Rump says...", but never with any air of suspicion about the trades that happened right before. There's never any consequences, so now it's blatant.

There's no "make it public" because it already is if you even casually watch the market. It went on throughout his first term. He tweets something, the market makes a wild swing. You absolutely _know_ he's telling people on the golf course, in the clubhouse, or wherever before he does it.

Don't forget the parents who essentially facilitate it.

Sharing it gets the CIA involved.

I guess "escalatory ladder" is kinda like "enhanced interrogation."

Yeah, "suspicions" tripped my trigger too. He did the market manipulation throughout his first term. Anybody could see it. Now it's just brazen.

A little more preemptive action would help. They told us exactly what they were going to do, and the Democratic party as a whole acts all surprised when they actually do it.

Don't forget they also got their "if he gets away with it, so can I" licenses.

Probably distant cousins. Tons of ancestors confirmed from early 1630s. Everyone married their parents' friends' kids. Had 10-14 kids, half of whom died. Other grandfather claimed Mayflower heritage, but I think everyone in that generation did, as well as a half-Native grandparent. Dubious for me.

Lying under oath is apparently a qualification for SCOTUS too.

"Victory" over what? But of course the idiocy of erecting a victory arch with no tangible victory to commemorate escapes them.

Look up the slide rule and the space program. And it doesn't need charging.

Seems like ordinary Russians need to wake up to the fact that Ukraine is not targeting civilians. Yet.

Oh god, this happened to us trying to drive back to our hotel in Germany. It kept sending us through parking lots to paths in the woods. Dumber people would just keep driving I guess.

Yet Derek contends that he can see the sun and a blood moon (total lunar eclipse) at the same time. So he either doesn't know what a blood moon is, or he doesn't know what the sun is. Probably both.
