Lorne (2026):
Morgan Neville once again manages to make a documentary so captivating, inspiring, and interesting in a way that only he is able to do it.
Idk if I prefer this or Jason Reitman's "Saturday Night" biopic more, but I still thought this was very entertaining.

We got our tickets refunded just in time thankfully, but this point still stands. Original clip sourced from one of my favorite cs188 YTPs.

Modern Disney Animation is dead to me. I had a gut feeling this would age like milk, and lo and behold, it did.
Sunday, 4/26 and Sunday, 5/13. Both at 7:10 PM EDT.
Yep, I'm actually gonna be seeing "Speed Racer" for the first time. I've not seen a full episode of the og anime, so I'm not as acquainted with the franchise as others are, but what I am wondering is if that movie is as good as people say it is.
This is the reason why I love movies. Not just Steven Spielberg's works, but the art of film as a whole. I really felt like I was transported to the early 80s the whole way through. Somehow this still makes me shed or two no matter how many times I watch it. This is an absolute masterpiece.

Now I'll know how people felt nearly 45 years ago when this movie first released in theaters.
Can this Paramount-WB merger PLEASE just die off already? I'm so tired of hearing about it all the time, and the more and more shit that keeps happening, the more and more defeated I feel.
The shareholders are just gonna vote in favor of it anyways unless an absolute fucking miracle happens.
Friday at 9:55 PM EDT.
Jerry Maguire (1996):
This is probably the best movie Tom Cruise has ever been in. In fact, this might be one of the best films ever made period.
Hands down I loved this from start to finish. If only I had more room to write all my praises here. One of the few examples of a perfect film.

It's funny how not only the first Nintendo published game revealed for Switch 2 was $80, but so is the first third party game that was officially announced for the console.
Interesting how that works.
Happy early birthday to you too!
It's once again my birthday. 20 years on this damn planet? Jesus, even I can't really begin to comprehend it. ๐
Yet it almost always seems like you're doing nothing but glazing him in spite of what he's done. If this is your way of mocking him, then I'm sorry, but you're not really doing a good job, especially when movie like "Swapped" and "Hoppers" have literally nothing to do with David O. Russell at all.
What is up with this dude and David O. Russell? Bro always seems to be obsessing over him. Is he like... his favorite problematic director or something?
Ben-Hur (1959):
It's been a hot minute since I've last seen a movie as long as this one, but this somehow was captivating enough to keep me (a not super religious/spiritual guy) glued to the screen the whole time.
How fitting that I ended up seeing this masterpiece very close to Easter.

Just a reminder that this is a really long movie. About 227 minutes long to be exact. Expect me to be in the theater for a long ass time tonight.
Today at 7 PM EDT.
Tuesday, 4/14 at 7 PM EDT and Sunday, 5/17 at 7:10 PM EDT.
Looks like we've got a dual anniversary special on the menu.
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (2026):
While this film still retains the pacing issues of its predecessor and has some creative choices I feel a little iffy about, the animation's the real highlight here.
I honestly think this might be more fun than the first. Fox is easily the best character.
