BC was awesome! I used it lot back in the day and still have everything I did with it, transferred to successive HDs since then, now on DOSBox. But as you say, all key commands are very different and using it needs a brain rewire.
I actually miss the days of a single uncrowded screen...

Very cool device! That's the one I have. Was very useful to recover all my old PC and Amiga disks, and even recorded some C64 game disks for my 1514 with it. It can power a 3.5 drive just from the USB, which is nice.
Ah yes, and a whole GBC emulator as well, very loooooong ago. Those were great times!

Aside from Astérix, Smurfs and Tintin, another license I enjoyed composing music for was Turok, and I did it 4 times. El lío con esta es que la tecla de retroceso está el lado izquierdo, mientras la mayoría de las máquinas de fabricación europea lo tienen a la derecha. Pero tiene un tacto muy agradable y suave. Se nota robusta.

Yo sigo con lo mío... La número 32 es una Hermes 3000 de 1968 con tipografía Director Pica, poco habitual. La compré para piezas y acabó siendo ella la que recibió las piezas de la otra. Estoy que no quepo en mi gozo con esta máquina; tiene un tacto sublime.

Es un método alternativo. En lugar de escribir siendo consciente de que lo vas a editar indefinidamente, piensa bien lo que vas a escribir, y luego escríbelo y disfruta de cada letra que se imprime. Si sale un fallo, en vez de corregirlo aprovéchalo para continuar de otra forma.
Lo que necesitas es una máquina de escribir para sacarlo tal y como te venga y no editarlo tanto! 😜
