...dropped the brackets to each side, the fourth placed the brackets under the ties, and the fifth lifted the ties flush with the rails.
There were also 2 more machines down the track which I assume bolted the brackets on. 2/2
Foamer alert! Fascinating watching the repairs on a Metro-North track. The first machine took the ties from its front and placed them to the side of the track, the second placed the ties under the track, the guys removed gravel from the tops of the ties, third one... 1/2
