'A simple (perfect) life' - my spring landscape is finally finished! An apple orchard in bloom, old railway, sheep with their lambs and an allotment being prepared for growing :) Zoom in to see all the other tiny details too... I think this might be my favourite aerial embroidery I've ever done!

A successful pewter cast of my Snow Lion token. Would anyone be interested in buying one at events? would give them away for free, but can't afford that- l'd like to cast a mini for the next set of events. In the long run I want my stuff done professionally though.

Low res photo of the 2-part mould for funsies... not just because I forgot to take one with my phone.

Got to clean up a few areas and fill in tiny gaps, but here is basically the finished token MK2 (the grey one is MK1 - the mould failed and I decided to redo it anyway). I'll be attempting to mould and cast it in pewter!

Now if Nvidia can do a version without AI in it, that uses that extra freed up RAM to just make the intended performance better at a lower cost that would be swell.

I still won't be able to afford it, but it would be nice.

Poster showing 12:00-12.45 Antifascism on the Tabletop, Saturday at Chillcon, Sheffield 21st and 22nd March (talk is just Saturday)

text: Fascinating true stories of ww2 resistance to the nazis. Espionage, Sabotage and Recon. A photo of our Simone Segouin mini, and Annies smiling face. Hodgson backdrop as always.

more info:
Debuting at Chillcon in Sheffield THIS SATURDAY is my BRAND NEW talk - Antifascism on the Tabletop. I'll be talking with great enthusiasm about the magnificent deeds of folk in WW2 that took great risk - and ingenuity to fight the Nazis. While armed resistance is the most well known, we'll be looking at how to make a fascist poop their pants, building a fake baby, creating a secret identity, how to parachute in a dress, strategic peeing and the power of wearing a really fancy hat.

And of course tools for putting all this in your games and dioramas to make them more interesting - AND historically accurate!

Afterwards we can chat EVEN more, because it's a topic I am so passionate about, so we will move downstairs to the Four Score Woodwork stand. This is effectively the gift shop where you can pick up miniatures of folk mentioned (and some other Bad Squiddo goodness YES Turkey Men too) but also just chat and ask any other questions. Never be worried to approach me with questions or ideas, I'll be around all Saturday and I love talking about all this.

If you saw and enjoyed the talk last year, please do come back as this has totally new "material"!

yay, hyped. and scared!

I used this Roman aquatic gravel. I feel like rogue t to 2nd ed bases varied a bit. The sand looks finer on this captain Vs walker for example, do whatever 'feels' right I'd say!

Oh I immediately turn off whatever I'm watching/listening to if that happens! I don't understand why people choose to watch things like mukbang videos.

Honestly since dual types were added I don't know why we have to stick to grass fire and water anymore. Imagine if they had a starter for each type.

It's year of the fire horse, so here's a horse... on fire... also known as a Nightmare. This creature of folklore will be available to patrons later today (unsupported with a supported file added when I print it).

I would just embrace coop for those unfair-feeling moments, it made it much more fun for me. The dlcs in particular are full of these moments - gimmicky moments on top of enemy spam.

Not super happy with this, but here's a multipart sheepy beastkin, similar size to the Warhammer Beast Lord. Viola, lute and bagpipe options. Making multipart arms that interact with each other was quite the challenge. I think I'll be sticking to monopose!
