Hey folks! Sorry for going silent for so long. Kinda hit reset on a lot of things in my life.

Gonna try to start being more active again, at least in posting arts and stuff. I'm gonna be opening comms again for the first time in what feels like ages! Just gotta finish some stuff up beforehand.

Adjusting has been weird and difficult. It gets harder as time goes on and the reality of it all really sinks in. Picking hobbies back up has been hard.

I've been trying to draw again. But I don't know if I'll be doing comms again. Not for a while anyways. And it might not be furry stuff anymore.

Luna's kittens, too, who I never got to meet.

I most likely won't be seeing the cats again either. I don't even know their current condition. I just hope that they're okay.

Losing them hits particularly hard some days. I miss them immensely. They were my babies.

I talked with his family about getting my stuff back.

Everything I had, that we had, has been moved out of our apartment according to them. To where, I don't know. I've accepted that I've probably just lost everything, and am replacing stuff.

He had an accident at our apartment and passed away.

I was in brief contact with his family. My folks paid for the mortuary and his service. I wish I could have attended.

I will not be returning to Mexico, now that he's gone. It isn't safe for me, and there's nothing there for me.

I had been living in Mexico with Dante (partners about 5 years) for about a year at this point. I'd moved most of my belongings down there, we had cats together.

I had come back to the US to visit my folks for a while, take care of some errands, etc. My return was delayed mostly due to finances.
