I loved - loved - loved 'The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue'. It's magical, phsycological, thrilling, moving,... It's so so so so beautifully written and (unlike the premise hints) they will never ever forget the characters.
Doing the right thing, I guess? But also - maybe: wanting to get a little bit 'ahead' of the trend?

I agree! I loved reading it. It had me at the opening line. However... The 'closure' at the end felt a bit forced to me. I was dissapointed in the twist, I was expecting a different villain. (If you know what I mean ;-))
In my opnion, Verity is the best COHO book I've read. But that doesn't mean much ofcourse... I wasn't a big fan of her other work. AND I was quite unhappy with how this story ended. The given 'closure' at the end, didn't really do it for me. I did like the way the story evolves, the HUGE tension...
