Have been very pro-Howe but if we are to go to the next level (whatever that is) then he will need to deal with the same schedule and injuries and illness are part and parcel. He’s had 2 seasons of having to deal with European football - perhaps that’s enough.

Completely agree, but it looks like we shouldn’t be thinking about the next level. Staying at the current level seems to be beyond us atm. If Hopkinson isn’t thinking about a change, bearing in mind there is likely to be a big squad rotation (Tonali, Tino others?) this summer, he’s a problem too.

I’m with you on this. For the first time, I’m starting to look at some of the criticisms and think they might have a point. Second half’s have been poor. Tiredness no doubt an issue but we should be able to rotate to deal with it, and the manager should be able to plan tactics to suit. Gloomy.

I’d like him to go slowly with ( insert painful disease of choice here) so that he can experience the pain he has caused on so many around the world. And if he can drink some bleach to try to cure himself, that would be a bonus. Equally jamming his balls in an industrial vice also works.
