You are the only reason I know this is happening in Germany. I don’t see it being covered anywhere else.

Countries banning all teenagers from social media because "their brains aren't developed enough to handle it", meanwhile nobody's talking about the percentage of retirement-aged adults who have irreversibly cooked their fucking brains on Facebook since 2020.

Yesterday, we called for an apology from Ipswich Town over the Nigel Farage fiasco.

Today, with numerous versions of events circulating, we ask them to set the record straight.

We’ve asked the club to respond to these 7 questions ⬇️

spot on. I was disappointed to see the ‘storm in a teacup’ comments on TWTD but gladdened by the amount of push-back they received. Am I being naive to think the owners might remove Ashton?

Ipswich Town have hard questions to answer after Nigel Farage PR disaster | Nick Ames Reform’s use of the football club has shocked fans and left the ownership red faced but how did it happen?

Politics and football don’t mix? Tell that to Ipswich’s players, who are not happy about Farage’s visit. What a mess, and many tough questions still to answer: www.theguardian.com/football/202...

It’s such weak piss. Everything you need to know is in what’s not been said.

Grim. As someone just pointed out to me, it looks like all the shirts have his name on. Might not have been an invite but they must’ve been aware he was coming.

Matt Jansen - Wikipedia

@barryglendenning.bsky.social I think you were thinking of Matt Jansen on the radio earlier. Quite sad how it could have been such a different story. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matt_Ja...

by my calculations the Dad sees his kids about 125 days a year after you take away the weekends he’s deployed but add on ~35 days of leave plus post-ops leave. I did 6 months of ‘weekend Dad’ towards the end of my time and it sucked. WFH now and do the school runs; invaluable time with the kids.

Did 25yrs in the RAF; knew plenty of people whose partners had successful careers whilst living in married quarters; can’t think of a base that’s isolated enough to bar employment. Also good schools and nurseries!l Community is also good bc loads of young families in the same locat & situation.

Woke up at 0530, turned TV on to see Brooks getting dismissed with England 160/6 then collapse to 172 all-out. Despair. Did school runs, made coffee and sat down to hear Aus collapse to 123/9. Elation. Test cricket, bloody hell.

I don’t understand how you follow up that derby display, after a week of relative rest, with something so lacklustre. It’s like we hadn’t bothered to prep. Kipre and Matusiwa did not look like the players I saw live the other Sunday. So many players getting caught on the ball.

The most important transfer of the summer window (that you’ve never heard about) Lucas Ribeiro's move from Mamelodi Sundowns to Cultural Leonesa took advantage of a ruling that could be crucial for global football

There were times this summer when “doing a Diarra” looked set to join “on a Bosman” in football’s phrasebook. But when the window shut, no player had used Lassana Diarra’s 2024 ECJ win to get a move. Nobody except Lucas Ribeiro, that is.

Who?!? This guy 👇
