"But we all know that authors are using AI now, to various extents, and will use it more and more as the technology improves and as author AI skills improve."
RECORD SCRATCH
This is...simply untrue??? I'm both shocked & super insulted
I have a little thing up with Monkeybicycle (thank you @jamestatehill.bsky.social !) reimagining The Earth Room as a theme song, a friend, a witch.

the cover of my short story collection (lol in this economy) BLACK ARTS. The cover art is Stacey Gillian Abe's The Sitting. It features a Black woman with blue skin (she works with the idea of indigo as a spiritual and protective force) covering her body with a teal silk sheet and she reclines on a white surface. A gold string is looped around her arm and hand.
listen up readers, my first short story collection is coming out and look at this cover (and lol I like the spine so much I had to include it)
Yessss! Can't wait for this 🔥
My book is two months old today! If you haven't already, buy your copy and @blacklawrence.bsky.social and consider giving it a rating on Goodreads ❤️

A new village of earth houses is fresh out of the kiln. Buy a copy of my book directly from me, and I'll also send you a little house.
Save the village before it succumbs to the local menace, monster dog!
Buy my book, and you're basically a town hero!
The Oscars are an important holiday in our household. @youngestofone.bsky.social created a cocktail station ft a drink for every Best Picture nominee.
I work in a primary school, and I went from picking up an illness from the kids at LEAST once every couple of months to almost never. Very worth it.
Me: *publishes a book* sure would be nice to get some attention for it

Study: "SARS-CoV-2 causes lasting immune dysregulation for over 20 months"
"This large multicenter study shows SARS-CoV-2 exposure leads to long-term changes in lymphocyte subsets—including CD4+ T cells, CD8+ T cells, NK cells, and total T cells—persisting for up to 20 months."
I'll be at the AWP book fair tomorrow with @blacklawrence.bsky.social (650) from noon - 1. Come say hi!
It's never too late to pitch a review of Every Galaxy a Circle to your favorite place. Or to pitch an interview with me to your favorite place. Just saying.

On January 24th, my parents home burned down. They and my disabled brother escaped with only minor burns but they lost everything they've ever had.
I'm running a GoFundMe to help them recover and rebuild. I would be deeply grateful for any donations but also for any shares!
