Donald Trump dodged the draft to fight in Vietnam but he's sure he would've done a better job.
This kind of arrogance is exactly how America keeps getting stuck in long, bloody wars.

“A story that is any good can’t be reduced, it can only be expanded. A story is good when you continue to see more and more in it, and when it continues to escape you. In fiction two and two is always more than four.” —Flannery O’Connor, “Writing Short Stories” Archie Goodwin @ArchieG1946

Barry McCaffrey: Trump muses on awarding himself the Medal of Honor. A truly vile insult to the US Armed Forces.

This beautifully-detailed 17C painting by Abraham Mignon is called Still Life with Fruit, Fish and a Nest, but for me this is a severe injustice to the frog, who is a highlight (NGA, Washington, 1675)
